Hello, blog-reading friends - new and old!

I'd been blogging at Scissor Quirk for more than 3 years (and it was my second blog - lol - I think I have a 3-year-switch pattern). I feel like I've grown so much over the last year - faster than I could keep up - and it no longer reflected my style...(if you read a lot of blogs, you'll know that we bloggers tend to play around with this stuff until we find our aesthetic footing). Which meant, I wasn't very jazzed about posting my new work up there, since the place wasn't pretty or set up to have the pictures I post center stage, like I hope this one is. Not to mention it felt like I'd be digging myself out from the cobwebs of designs and archives and posts-I-never-hope-to-be-next-to-my-design-work: it felt better to start fresh.
I'll be posting some of my past favorite old things & new things up here, in this space.

Love the photo and the new blog design! It makes me want to do a redesign. Maybe I'd actually blog? Oh and I need that camera too!

Thanks, Marie! Its just a shorter version of my name - M for Michelle and A for my middle name, Alynn. :) (said Ah-Lynn). I should put that somewhere on here... :)
