I stumbled across the handmade data visualization of Italian visual journalist Adriano Attus the other day while I was researching examples of it (data vis is basically a visual means of demonstrating data and statistics via charts and graphs - a bit different than an infographic) for my first design class project of the year, and I fell in love with these:

Are these not the coolest newspaper graphics you've ever seen!? What I'd give to have these newspapers in my mailbox - such a great combination of statistics and found-object visuals. :)
