i love that this kind of switch seems to be happening in the blog world right now. I have always thought that less, but better content is so much more satisfying to read. i like the look of your new blog and I'm in total agreement with your whole manifesto. good for you!

Michelle Clement

Thank you!! :) I agree - quality over quantity, right? its so hard to get caught up in the I-must-post-at-least-everyday of blogland, and nothing profound comes out of that, it sometimes just feels rushed. :(

Pablo

This exercise in post only when you're passionate about something is really important.
I'm loving this new format of your blog!

thanks for the "nudge" ;) i am going to work on my new manifesto this week now! all of those points can hold true for me as well, although, i may get a butt chewing for #4 if my children read. thank you for NOT posting the 487,569,684 tutorial for flower crowns. much appreciated :P

Hi Michelle! :)
Nice little place you have here. o love the design! So calming. :)
Just a question as I was in need of refilling my stock of sassafras paper.....don't they exist anymore??! I feel like I lived on the moon for a while since the last post I can find on their blog is from 2011....?! What happened? I'm just about to make something with some awesome mix and mend paper. :)) Happy 2013 to you!! I just saw your card and I found it delightful! YOU ARE SO PRETTY!! :)

Michelle Clement

Aaw, thanks so much for all the sweet words! :) I believe Sassafras is no longer making paper/scrapbook stuff - they left to focus on other design-related work, I think, a couple years ago. Sooo...Mix Mend is no longer being produced, I think, but I did a quick google and noticed that it was still available at a few online shops...I hope you can find some! Thanks for following me to my new space, too! Hopefully I can make some things out of paper again soon soon. :) Happy day!

Michelle Clement

lol....I swear, one week in my blog reader there were like 4 or 5 of the SAME tutorial - argh! lol. I have nothing against flower crowns, I just feel like theyre suuuuper repetitive online! lol. :)

Marie-Pierre

I must be lucky 'cause I don't even know what a flower crown is. This being said, I don't need a tutorial. ;) thanks for the India about sassafras lass!! My goodness. I live in a cave! And thanks for the sweet comment on my blog. :) I think I told you right that I am scrapbooking because of you?! :)

Meredith

This is great Michelle. :)

I love the new look of your blog too!

Holly

Freaking LOVE this list!!!

It's funny. I think most bloggers tend to apologize when they don't update regularly. Consistency is a big issue apparently. But I think bloggers should post whenever the hell they feel like it. I try to at least update once or twice a month. Just because I enjoy doing it. Naturally, I would like to see my favorite bloggers updating often. But that's simply because I enjoy reading what they have to say. :D

Michelle Clement

he he - its kind of a catch 22, right? We want to read, but also have bloggers post good stuff when they;re feeling it, which may not be all the time... :) I getcha! Its hard to ignore that I should post something, its been a while voice!
